Dr. Chaitanya Singh is a distinguished academician, visionary administrator, and accomplished researcher with over nineteen years of progressive experience in higher education, research, and institutional leadership. He currently serves as the Principal and Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Vidhyadeep Institute of Engineering & Technology, and as the In-Charge Dean of the Vidhyadeep Institute of Computer and Information Technology, Vidhyadeep University, Surat. Renowned for his academic excellence and pioneering research, he holds a Doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering and possesses an exceptional record of innovation, with over twenty-five patents to his credit, including Indian, UK, and Australian patents.

His scholarly contributions extend to numerous SCI and Scopus-indexed publications with esteemed publishers such as Springer, Elsevier, and Wiley. His primary research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity, fields in which his work has garnered significant national and international recognition.

Dr. Singh has been the recipient of several prestigious honors, including the Award of Excellence for Academics and Administration (2025) and the I2OR National Eminent Researcher Award (2020). As a dedicated mentor, he has supervised multiple Ph.D. scholars and guided students in achieving global industry certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle.

He has also demonstrated exemplary leadership as the Convener of the International Conference on Sustainable Futures: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Education and Technology (SFIPET-2025) and as a keynote speaker at numerous academic and professional platforms.

In addition to his research and teaching credentials, he serves as the Chairperson of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and contributes as a vital member of various statutory and academic bodies, including the Board of Studies (BOS), Board of Faculties (BOF), NAAC, IQAC, and the Research Committee at Vidhyadeep University.
